New invention aims to end corruption by making it fully automated.
Hyderabad’s tech hub has done it again: it’s launched the world’s first AI-powered politician, nicknamed NetaBot 1.0. According to The Print, the robot can deliver campaign speeches, kiss babies digitally, and promise reforms it doesn’t understandall simultaneously.
The developers say the project began as a joke but became serious when humans couldn’t compete with the bot’s consistency. It lies faster than we can fact-check, admitted one party strategist.
NetaBot’s key feature is ‘Corruption Learning Mode,’ which trains on 70 years of Indian politics. It can adjust ideology in real-time based on who’s watching. If it senses businessmen, it turns capitalist, said engineer Rahul Jain. If it senses students, it becomes socialist. If it senses both, it crashes.
Public reaction is mixed. Some voters appreciate the efficiency, while others fear the bot might one day audit humans for honesty. Political experts warn that if successful, humans may soon be out of jobsnot just in politics, but in hypocrisy.
Developers insist this is democracy’s next stage: programmable disappointment.
