Uttar Pradesh Introduces Cow Yoga for Inner Peace and Outer Productivity

Program promises “spiritual moo-vement” and improved milk output.

In a bold fusion of tradition and tourism, Uttar Pradesh has unveiled “Cow Yoga,” a wellness program that combines meditation with livestock companionship. According to Hindustan Times, the initiative encourages citizens to practice yoga alongside cows to “absorb their calm energy and gentle judgment.”

Proponents claim that stretching beside a 600-kilogram creature boosts mindfulness—and occasionally adrenaline. “It’s very grounding,” said instructor Meera Devi. “Especially when the cow decides to sit down on your mat.”

The government touts Cow Yoga as a global wellness export that could rival goat yoga from the West. Tourists are signing up in droves, lured by slogans like “Find Your Zen, Avoid the Horns.” Early results show that participants report a 40% drop in stress and a 100% increase in grass stains.

Animal-rights activists are divided. “It’s either enlightenment or exploitation,” said one Delhi-based expert. “Depending on who moos first.” The Department of Agriculture insists no cows are harmed—just mildly confused.

Economists predict that Cow Yoga could soon rival Ayurveda as India’s top spiritual export. “It’s the perfect union of capitalism and calm,” said one analyst. “Breathe in, breathe out, now donate.”
